Amy Lou Adams Amy Lou Adams born on August 20, 1974 Aviano Italy American actor. Famous for her critically acclaimed performance of charming and naive individuals. Adams was a seventh 7-year-old in Castle Rock Colorado. In the mid-1990s, she began professional dancing and performed at the Boulder Dinner Theatre in Colorado and Country Dinner Playhouse. Then she moved to Minnesota where she was scouted for Drop Dead Gorgeous, a mock documentarian film about beauty contests. When she made her screen debut as a ditzy but good-natured contestant, she moved towards Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. The decade following she was in a variety of famous films, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) as well as Living It Up by Martin and Lewis (a 1954 film).
