Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress, best recognized for her roles in the films Beta Saajan, Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Beta Saajan. The actress was initially famous for her role in Tezaab from the 1980s where she co-starred alongside the veteran actor Anil Koopor. The next time she appeared on screen was in Dil with Aamir. When she was a kid her Mumbai-born dancer started developing her skills at a young age. At the age of 15 when she began to act, she was not successful as a lot of her films were flops. Then she found her way to success and went on to be one of the most well-known actors in the Indian film industry. After marriage, she experienced a career break before reentering the business. Recently, she had in a crucial character in the film Gulaab Gang which was about the struggle of women living in India. Dixit was nominated for fifteen Filmfare Awards. Of these she's received 8. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award in India was awarded to Dixit. Her name is well-known for her charitable work as well.
