Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is an avid reviewer of Z-graded movies that are mostly of the martial arts or horror genres. Her style of review and methodology are very similar to The Cinema Snob. However she is more inclined to watch silly action flicks with a morbid fascination. The reviewer began her journey in late 2009 after becoming well-known in their forum. (Under her old username Obscurus Lupa), she was invited to join Channel Awesome. Channel Awesome team. She was on the website until mid-2015 in the year that Obscurus Lupa Presents was retooled into Movie Nights. She co-hosts two podcasts that are about the Charmed series. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Her appearances during Midnight Screenings were usually reviews of shite films for children or RiffTrax as well as occasional adult comedies. When she began reviewing films in 2009 the actress gained popularity in the forums of Channel Awesome. Before joining the official team that comprises Channel Awesome reviewers, she became popular. She's been featured in numerous Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She was a part of the Channel Awesome family alongside Doug Walker and was often seen on episode of the Nostalgia Critic.
